Ms. Rosie Ebe-Arthur is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD), UK and brings along with her a plethora of experience from the United Kingdom and Africa. Ms. Ebe-Arthur was previously employed by Ernst & Young as Associate Director of People Services, Africa Projects, South Africa with responsibility for Sub Saharan Africa.  Ms. Ebe-Arthur later served at Ecobank Transnational Incorporated as Group Human Resources Business Partner for Domestic Bank working across 33 countries.

 

She then joined Standard Chartered Bank, rising to Head of Human Resources, West Africa with responsibility for Nigeria, Ghana, Cote D’Ivoire, Cameroun, Gambia and Sierra Leone.  Ms. Ebe-Arthur is currently the Group Head, Human Capital Management & Development for First Bank Nigeria and Subsidiaries and is accountable for setting and driving the People Strategy across the Bank’s footprints in Africa, United Kingdom and the representative offices in France and China.

 

Rosie holds a Postgraduate from the University of Westminster in Personnel Management and a Bachelor’s Degree in Education with a Diploma in English.  She is also an alumnus of Management Programs at INSEAD and The Said Business School, University of Oxford.  She enjoys gardening, dancing, reading management books and has a keen interest in the ‘Future of Work.’

 

Rosie’s favorite job is playing mother to her very creative son Nana, a Gen Z, whom she constantly challenges with every new thing she learns. She loves working with people to find the hidden diamond in them by creating the right environment to develop exceptional employees.  She is passionate about Africa and believes that with a focus on distributed leadership, Africa will play a bigger role in the world.
