FBNBank Ghana Limited, a subsidiary of First Bank of Nigeria Limited has held a health walk as part of its New Year activities. The event gave the bank an opportunity to encourage participants to take on healthy lifestyles.

Speaking at the end of the walk in Accra, Managing Director of FBNBank Ghana Limited, Victor Yaw Asante said that ‘the bank embarked on the walk to welcome the new year with new energy and enthusiasm.

According to Mr. Asante, the FBNBank Walk was meant to, inform, influence and inculcate in participants, and members of the public in general, the need to live a balanced lifestyle. He stressed the need for participants to exercise regularly and adopt a healthy lifestyle that will give them a sound mind in a sound body.

Mr. Victor Yaw Asante reiterated that FBNBank Ghana is continuing its quest to endear the brand to its stakeholders in the Ghanaian market. “This is because we take pride in being exclusively customer-centric and we go to great lengths to put the needs of our customers at the heart of our business. Our commitment is to set the gold standard of customer experience and excellence in financial services solutions. Since 1894, our brand has developed a unique culture of making the people we serve our top priority and today, we reinforce our application of this culture, even as we provide unrivalled value to all our customers.”

While congratulating participants for embarking on the walk, Mr. Asante concluded by saying that today we want to refocus participants and members of the public on the need to embrace a culture of exercising this year and beyond. “He expressed the hope that the culture of exercising will stay with all of us long after this walk has ended.”

The FBNBank walk started from the Ghana School of Law, Makola through the Liberation Road and ended at the bank’s head office, Airport. In all, about 200 participants comprising members of staff and the bank’s stakeholders participated in the FBNBank Ghana walk.

FBNBank Ghana Limited, a subsidiary of First Bank of Nigeria Limited has presented prizes to winners of the 2019 Save & Win promo. The prize presentation afforded the bank an opportunity to make good on its promise of recognizing and rewarding the bank’s customers that participated the culture of saving by participating in the FBNBank Save and Win promo.

A Director of FBNBank Ghana, Mrs. Bashirat Odunewu and Nii Addo Abossey Bulley II, Sempe Mankralo presented the grand prize of an all-expenses paid Accra-Dubai-Accra trip to Mensah Gage, a customer of the bank’s Kaneshie branch.

Samuel Nii Okai Aryee, a customer of the Dansoman branch of the bank won the second prize of an all-expenses paid Accra-South Africa-Accra trip.

Managing Director of FBNBank Ghana, Victor Yaw Asante presented the third prize of an all-expenses paid weekend stay at the Royal Senchi hotel to Grace M. Boamah, a customer of the Achimota branch of the bank.

Other customers of the bank who were also presented with their prizes are Mary Linda Atuora Amenyenu (Dansoman branch) who received a smart TV, Richard Butu (Kaneshie branch) who won a digital TV and Mavis Koranteng (Korle Bu branch) was presented with a washing machine.

The rest of the winners were Daniel M. Ejike (Swanmill branch) who won a double door fridge, Patience Addy (Santa Maria branch) who received a table top fridge and Raymond Buabeng who walked away with a smartphone. For the two monthly draws held, winners were rewarded with smartphone and mobile network airtime.

Victor Yaw Asante, FBNBank Ghana Managing Director thanked all who participated in the promotion and congratulated the winners. He said that “FBNBank believes in finding a better way every day to make our customers’ banking experience better.” He was delighted that the bank had provided a platform that helped the bank’s customers to save and expressed the hope that the culture of saving will stay with Ghanaians long after the promotion which has ended because “it was when we save that we create wealth and protect our future.”

The third edition of the FBNBank Ghana Limited savings promotion “FBNBank Ghana Save and Win Promo” was organized from 1st August till 31st October, 2019. In all, 30 customers of the bank won various prizes. These winners were determined through three electronic draws supervised by the National Lottery Authority.

FBNBank Ghana Limited, a subsidiary of First Bank of Nigeria Limited has commissioned its ultra-modern Kaneshie branch, located at Hansonic Junction in Accra.

The commissioning of the bank’s new Kaneshie branch forms part of FBNBank Ghana’s strategy to bring financial services closer than ever to its customers with the bank’s products and services available to all who embrace the bank’s brand and signaled the expansion of its presence in the country to meet the increasing financial solutions needs of individuals and businesses.

Speaking at the event, Victor Yaw Asante, FBNBank Ghana MD/CEO said the branch commissioning offered the bank an opportunity to reaffirm its commitment to Ghana and demonstrate a relentless quest to put customers first.
